Fighting for Education

Abby will focus on moving the K-12 and higher education debates toward policies that will improve outcomes for our kids, no matter their zip code.

Oklahoma is at the bottom of the list when it comes to education. Our state is ranked #44 for PreK-12 and #42 overall. The quality of a community’s schools is critical to set our students up for success.

Abby believes all kids should have access to a quality education no matter their zip code. The daughter of educators and a product of public schools in OK-5, Abby will fight to protect public education and public charter schools. During her U.S. Senate run, Abby held teacher town halls online to hear the needs and struggles of classroom teachers during the pandemic. She was endorsed by the Oklahoma Education Association and the National Education Association.

Investing in future generations means working to make higher education more affordable. Abby will work to ensure the students of OK-5 have the tools they need for success whether their path is a four-year university, community college, or an apprenticeship program.
